Benita’s vision for her art is different in that she tries to give life to each piece she creates. She creates a variety of designs and her objective is for the person to believe the piece is endless; either staring back at the viewer or making the viewer feel as if they are jumping off the canvas.

Some of Benita’s favorite pieces are by Picasso, Dali and Matisse. She says, “They all used boldness and color, and at their time their work was unique. This is how they all became masters of their trade and I want to be known as a master of my trade. I love art! I love the feeling of taking a canvas, paper, board or whatever medium I am using and turning it into art. I believe when an artist creates art, they are leaving a piece of who they are and their soul in that work. In some art, you can almost see how the artist felt when they created it.”
